Lucy had to duck to fit into the car, loaded at least to its "maximum" load. Her bed was perched on top of our kit bag.
Arriving in Tilbury, land of huge farms and windmills.
Peapod Captain exhausted after heaving the contents of the car onto the swim ladder, 8 feet in the air. Lucy also exhausted from the stress of being hoisted up by the handle of her life jacket and swung unceremoniously aboard. She has since learned how to manage large steps and small ladders.
A gourmet first dinner aboard with pasta and olive oil from Sardinia thanks to Adam and Isabelle; fresh grated parmesan and bacon. It will be an early night tonight. Fresh breezes will mean a good sleep until the VIA train goes by very close and very early.
